Sustainability is the key to success with outreach programs. Through community-based projects we demonstrate the utility of science in everyday life. In lessons taught during the project we transfer the technical skills required for a project to become self-sustaining and the scientific background needed to understand how everything works. Future Scientist provides a holistic scientific foundation to resource-poor areas that will enable communities to help themselves.
